Holistic Rural Development

At Naman Seva Samiti, we believe that true development is multi-dimensional and inclusive. Our Holistic Rural Development Project (HRDP) in Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh, is a testament to our commitment to sustainable community transformation. This initiative spans 25 villages in the Mohkhed block, addressing key challenges in Natural Resource Management, Education, Skill Development & Livelihood, and Health & Sanitation.

A key aspect of our Holistic Rural Development Project is ensuring that rural communities can access government schemes and services. Given funding limitations, Naman plays a crucial role in linking people to government programs, maximizing impact beyond project resources.

  • Bridging the Gap with Authorities: Through facilitation and advocacy, community members have now engaged with the District Collector (DC), local administration, and various government departments.
  • Improved Access to Public Services: As a result, bureaucratic barriers have been reduced, making government offices more approachable for rural families.
  • Infrastructure & Mobility Gains: These interactions have led to improved roads and better connectivity, enhancing overall quality of life.

By empowering communities to engage with governance structures, we ensure that development efforts are sustainable and self-driven, even beyond the project’s direct funding.
